National Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month

February has been declared National Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month by President Obama. Can you recognize an unhealthy teen relationship? Do you know how to best help a friend, son or daughter who's in a troublesome partnership, at home or away at college?

Please join UPC partner Safe Community Coalition Feb. 9 at McLean High School for "What's Love Got to Do With It? Healthy Relationships and Dating," a community conversation focused on facts, feelings and empowerment.

The McLean program begins at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium. View event flyer for more details.See www.safecommunitycoalition.net.

Support efforts in our communities and schools, and in our own families, to empower young people to develop healthy relationships throughout their lives and to engage in activities that prevent and respond to teen dating violence. For more information on this issue, visit these links.
