Smoking and smokeless tobacco use are usually initiated during adolescence. SADD chapters across the nation are marking this as Wipe Out Smoking Month, and on Nov. 17, the American Cancer Society marks the 36th Great American Smokeout by encouraging smokers to use the date to make a plan to quit, or to plan in advance and quit smoking that day.
