Super Bowl Sunday can be a great family day. If you're hosting a party, remember that 21 is the legal drinking age. Don't be a party to underage drinking. Parents, the alcohol advertisements during the game can be a good teachable moment; you and your children can talk later about what they thought about them and you can discuss the real dangers of underage drinking. The Unified Prevention Coalition of Fairfax County invites college-bound students and their parents to attend an upcoming "Perils of the College Drinking Culture" forum this year. The first event was held Jan. 11 at McLean High School, and the next will be March 28 at Mount Vernon High School. For more information, click here.
